50 cent lose weight

Many film stars take their roles very seriously, and spend months getting into their characters. This sometimes involves either growing their hair, gaining weight or even losing vast amounts of weight. These drastic changes help them to fully look like the character they are playing. 50 cent did just this recently when he lost 56 pounds on a liquid diet, to play a cancer sufferer in his latest film role.

Curtis James Jackson, who is better known as 50 cent is an award winning rapper an actor. Although he had several scrapes with the law in his younger days, he has proven to be a very successful musician and actor. He has many albums behind him now and has written a number of books dealing with his background and the drug problem around the world.

50 cent has starred in several top Hollywood films and is fast becoming a great Hollywood actor. His latest role in the film "Things fall apart" is set to be his biggest challenge yet, not only does he play the star but he co produced the movie. The character in this film is an American football star that is diagnosed with cancer, so 50 cent felt he needed to drop the weight to portray the character correctly.

50 cent lost the amazing amount of weight in just nine weeks; he virtually cut out all solid food and began a grueling exercise program. He would do three hour long treadmill sessions to ensure the weight was coming off quickly. 50 cent paid his personal trainer to be with him 24 hours a day seven days a week to ensure that he never slacked off. It was the personal trainer's job to personally oversee everything that the star ate and drank during the nine weeks.

Although 50 cent leads a very healthy lifestyle before the role, he wanted to make sure that he did not get tempted to eat during this bizarre diet. His website posted regular photos of his weight loss, which were shocking to some of his fans who were concerned that the star was in fact ill himself. 50 cent was often seen looking gaunt with sunken cheeks which made him look really bad.

He has now admitted that since filming has stopped he has begun to regain the weight. Although he has no regrets in doing the drastic diet, he is in fact starving and can't wait to regain the weight. Experts have predicted that it won't take him long to get back in shape and be back to his original bodyweight.

With a healthy diet and careful training, he will be back to his former self very soon, and will be preparing for his next role. When film stars take their acting roles so seriously, it is great and shows their dedication to their jobs. More and more stars are getting fully into the emotions and physical side of their characters. Improving the films and making them more believable to watch, people like to see characters that do actually look like they are supposed to.
